No. You pay the full agreed package price before production or your event. The selected keepsakes and engraving are a complimentary gift for your guests.
Each quote is based on your keepsakes, quantity and design. Live engraving costs more because it includes our time at your venue and the station setup. Service hours, travel and any delivery charges are detailed in your quote before you book.
We plan your quantity and service hours around your guest count and chosen design. A simple name has a target engraving time of 1–3 minutes, with additional time for choices, setup, queues and handover. For larger guest lists, we can discuss preparing some keepsakes ahead of time.
We'll coordinate a stable work area, reliable power and a suitable location for our equipment and fume extraction with your venue. Live service is confirmed once the venue arrangements and event schedule are agreed.
Yes. Names, initials and short messages work well. Tell us if you have a particular language or script in mind so we can check the font and prepare a proof. We keep live choices concise to help the station run smoothly.
Marqd is based in Ottawa. For live engraving, send us your venue location so we can confirm availability and travel. For favours made in advance, Ottawa pickup or delivery can be arranged as part of your quote.
As soon as you have a date and an approximate guest count. Timing depends on your quantity, chosen pieces and our availability. We confirm your production or event schedule before you commit.
